If I buy an ebook, how do I read it?
Once you purchase an ebook, you will get an email from evan@storyorig.in with a link to download the ebook, or you can send the ebook directly to your favourite device. If the email hasn’t arrived in 10 minutes after purchase, please look for it in your Promotions/Spam folder.

If I buy an audiobook, how do I listen to it?
Once you purchase an audiobook, you will get a link to download the file, which you can then open in your preferred audiobook app (Apple Books/iTunes/Audible/Google Play etc).
If I buy a paperback (signed or unsigned) or a bookplate, how long does it take to get to me?
It depends which country you’re in, and which shipping option you choose at checkout. It won’t be ‘next day shipping’ though!
Each book or bookplate is printed in the UK (then signed if applicable) and sent by us.
It can take 10-15 working days to reach you outside the UK. Thank you for your patience!
Why would I buy a paperback from you when I can get it online for a cheaper price and fast shipping?
Great question! There is no way I can compete with the main online stores, so basically, you are supporting us as an independent author, which is much appreciated!
How does it help authors to buy direct?
If you buy direct, we get paid within hours or days, rather than months and the stores do not take their cut first—which helps us create more books! Thank you! We can also email you to tell you about other books and products you might enjoy.
While authors love the main stores and you can find our books there too, those spaces are becoming very crowded! Our direct stores allow us to feature our products without having other products advertised against them.
Is your merchandise sustainable?
Suppliers across the World produce and print all of our products. You’ll be pleased to know that the provider closest to you produces the goods on an “as needed” basis, reducing inventory and creating zero waste. For this reason, please choose your product carefully, particularly when it comes to sizing as each product is made to order. Sizing charts are available on each product page.
Suppliers use the latest printing methods, such as direct-to-garment (DTG) printing and all-over printing (AOP). Direct to garment (DTG) printing is much more sustainable than the older printing methods, like screen printing. DTG printing machines typically use environmentally friendly printing, water-based inks, and the process itself is mostly waterless and highly energy-efficient.
How do I look after my purchase?
Our products are produced by some of the leading print providers in the industry, so you can be confident that the printing techniques and the printed products have undergone extensive testing before being made available.
The product care instructions are available in the product listings in our catalogue.
As long as you follow the care instructions, the product will retain its overall quality for the period you would expect for products of that type.
