Signed Paperback: The Death of Light

Where the light shines, death stalks her from the shadows…

Get ready to be swept away by a thrilling adventure that takes you deep into the treacherous depths of the seemingly utopian city of Scolaris. In The Death of Light, the gripping sequel to The Death of Knowledge, join Quill, the fearless seeker of truth, as she finds herself caught in the crosshairs of a deadly game of international politics.

Amidst the pristine façade of Scolaris, tensions are rising as the city prepares to welcome a diplomatic visitor from the free nation of Asteria. But when the most influential man in Scolaris suddenly vanishes, Quill’s dream of becoming a respected scholar in the Great Library is threatened. As she delves deeper into the web of petty rivalries and political corruption, Quill unravels a shocking murder that thrusts her into a race against time to expose the cunning culprit.

With her newfound family and the fate of both nations hanging in the balance, Quill must summon all her courage and wit to uncover the truth before the flames of free thought are extinguished forever. But as she uncovers the dark secrets lurking beneath Scolaris’s polished exterior, she realises that the true danger may lie closer to home than she ever imagined.

Brimming with lavish world-building, heart-pounding suspense, and a fierce and determined heroine, The Death of Light is a must-read for fans of new adult dystopian adventures.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ People are dropping like flies, but from what??? Quill is a defecto—a servant, but she’s got a lot of street smarts and an intelligent mind that strives for more than her low born status offers. This was an intriguing journey with a lot of twists. I look forward to more adventures with Quill.
Beverly, Goodreads
