Writing 101: Behind the Cozy Curtain
Hello, my cozy mystery afficionados. I have some exciting news to share about changes I’ve made to my writing process to bring you more of the cozy mystery stories you love.
Recently, I’ve been rethinking how I craft my stories to make them more enjoyable and timely for you. I’ve decided that my process is too complicated, and other tasks are consuming too much of my time. So, here’s the scoop: I’ve simplified things to make sure you get more cozy mysteries.
I’ve switched to writing by hand on my Remarkable 2 tablet. I’m finding that this lets the ideas flow without the distraction of typing. Plus, it stops the doom scrolling on social media!
To give writing the focus it deserves, I’ve also revamped my weekly schedule. Those bright blue blocks in the image are for writing, and it’s working wonders. I’ve written almost 10,000 words this week, which I haven’t achieved for quite some time!
